Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has requested for lengthy time for the various national team coaches.
The Yagaba-Kubori Member of Parliament (MP) made those remarks when he appeared before the Parliamentary Select Committee on Tuesday, where he spoke about the Black Stars participation in the 2023 Nations Cup in Ivory Coast.
During the sitting, Ussif highlighted the importance for stability and time for coaches to build a solid team.
“If I had my way, we would give our coaches more time. If you look at Senegal, their coach has had six years. That allows him time to understand the team and the players to get results,” Ussif remarked.
