Ghana striker Inaki Williams has declared his confidence that the Black Stars will book their ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a crucial 1-0 victory over Mali in Accra.

The dazzling forward featured in Monday night’s tense Group I clash, where Alexander Djiku’s second-half strike proved decisive. The win lifted Ghana three points clear at the top of the group with just two matches left to play.

Williams, who has become a key cog in Otto Addo’s attack, wasted no time in sending a rallying message to fans after the game.

“We’re going to get it,” the 30-year-old posted on X, summing up the mood in the Ghanaian camp.

The victory was the perfect response to last week’s frustrating 1-1 draw with Chad, a result that briefly stalled momentum. But with Mali beaten and confidence restored, the Black Stars are firmly in control of their qualification destiny.

Ghana will next face the Central African Republic in Morocco before finishing the group against Comoros in Accra. Two positive results will confirm their place at the mundial in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
