Hearts of Oak youngster, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has been handed his second call up to the Black Stars for the 2023 Africa Cup of nations qualifiers and other friendlies.
Barnieh, who will turn 21 next month, had a shaky start but has been sensational to the Phobians with his general contribution to the Phobians especially in the second phase of the season.
He has netted four goals in his last five matches for Hearts of Oak in all competitions, having once again sent them to the FA Cup final.
He is part of the local players added to the recent squad after Augustine Okrah of Bechem United and this means they are most likely to miss the CHAN qualifiers.
Ghana will kickoff their 2023 AFCON qualifiers campaign against Madagascar on June 1, 2022 and will travel to Central African Republic in four days time.
