Bechem United head coach Kasim Mingle has heaped praises on Augustine Okrah after getting a call up to the Black Stars and believe he deserves it.
The 28 year old is filled with so much experience and has really contributed greatly and his re-signing has never been a regret to the Hunters.
The mercurial playmaker has scored 14 goals so far in the Ghana Premier League- a blistering performance which is mainly the reason why Bechem United are currently sitting second on the league log.
Also, he's netted 4 goals in the league cup notably a thunderbolt against Aduana Stars in the semi final to send his side to the final and are on course to win it for the second time.
On Akoma FM in Kumasi, Kasim Mingle has commended the hard work of his attacker since day one and added he really deserve to be part of the senior national team currently. He said;
"He deserves the call up, he has really worked hard to earn it. His Hardwork must be honored. He is experienced and he's not a lazy player. His results/goals can attest to that."
"He's a matured player, and definitely knows the competition at Black Stars and with his experience, i think he is ready for it. I will support him at training to compete."
The Black Stars will be commencing their 2023 AFCON campaign early next month against Madagascar. They will face Central African Republic at away in four days time.
