Ghana has moved a step further to cap Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo ahead of the Three Lions of England after coach Otto Addo named him in his 33-man squad.
The red-hot striker is expected to feature for the West African powerhouse in their qualifiers against Madagascar at the Cape Coast Stadium on Wednesday, June 1 followed by an away encounter against the Central African Republic on June 6, before jetting-out to Japan to participate in a pre-World Cup tournament known as the Kirin Cup.
Semenyo, 22, has been in magnificent form for Bristol this campaign, scoring eight goals, producing twelve assists in thirty-one matches this season.
The talented, hungry and bright young lad is expected to infuse and spark a rosy fierce competition in the sriking department of the senior national team.
Semenyo's inclusion in the Black Stars team might even be positive despite their current fury, embarrassment and frustration over a cutting edge in front of goal.
