National Nasara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa, has condemned how politics has been infused in Ghana football, specifically within the bounds of the Black Stars.
In recent times there has been rife reports of divisions within the senior national team, with some section of football experts Implying that politics plays a major role in the coaches selection of players.
In an interview with Happy FM, Haruna Futa, a former management member of Hearts of Oak, says these concerns won't help with the development of the game.
“It is wrong to conflate football with politics, especially regarding the Black Stars. There's a lot of politics happening within the Black Stars management team and even in the technical team.”
