Former Black Stars Assistant Coach, Ibrahim Tanko, says Otto Addo will face selection headache after recent nationality switches.
The three-times world cup participants have qualified for the world cup in Qatar and are in the same group with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea
Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Stephen Ambrosius, Patrick Pfeffer and Ransford Yeboah have switched nationality to play for the Black Stars.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Salisu has finally agreed to feature for the Ghanaian national team after years of absence.
Ibrahim Tanko, Black Meteors gaffer, has admitted that Otto Addo will be confronted with selection headache but insists that it's good for the Ghana.
"I don’t think they have a place in his squad so they also have to come and justify themselves," he told Luv FM.
“So, it’s going to be a tough decision for the coach because you have a pool of players to choose from, those who qualified and those who are coming, all of them are good.
“So, it’s a big headache for the coach, in terms of quality. It’s good and I think he has a very good squad to choose from, so the quality that came on board is going to help Ghana,” he stressed.
