Bank-roller of Young Apostles FC, Samuel Anim Addo is the latest to express displeasure towards poor officiating in the Ghana Premier League offlate and added he's been threatened with relegation if he does not put an end to that.

Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions FC released a statement couple of days to complain bitterly about the bad officiating they suffered in their match-week 16 clash against Dreams FC over the weekend and have called for urgent reforms to the Ghanaian game as quick as possible.

Former GFA Spokesperson Saani Daara was the first to back the Lions for their claims having described the performance of the referee as abysmal and added he shed tears since what he witnessed was a very painful thing.

Samuel Anim Addo, former GFA Executive Council member, has reiterated that referee Maxwell Hanson is always behind most of the poor officiating in our football and added he is unfazed with the relegation threats he's been getting from the GFA as he will continue to speak nothing but the truth to help raise the standard of Ghana football. He wrote on X;

“Maxwell Hanson is their man for ‘dirty works,’” Anim Addo wrote. “I sounded the alarm bells months ago but I was vehemently challenged with every attempt to ‘shush’ me by the leadership of Ghana Football… His disgraceful conduct undermines the league’s quality.”

“I have been threatened many times already that this GFA administration will ensure foul means to relegate my club, Young Apostles. But, I want to sound caution to them, that, it is not the worst they can do to me and my continuous investment and commitment to Ghana football.”
