Speaking to Fish FM, Alex Asamoah, who once played for RC Kadiogo, has described the ex- Police officer as very spiritual and a discipline leader and sees as the perfect choice for the Kotoko job. He said;

"I was happy when I heard Coach Kamou Malo is coming to Kotoko, because he is very discipline and also spiritual and physically strong."

"I know Juju is in football but it's all depends on you. Burkina, Mali and Benin do believe in juju so is part of them."
