Karela United winger Philip Flamini, who was remanded in police custody by the Ellembelle District Court in the Western Region for defilement, has finally been handed temporary bail, reports domesticsportsgh.

The 24-year-old attacker allegedly was reported to have defiled a 13-year-old school girl at the Karela United’s club house in Edwakpole, a suburb of Aiyinase in the Ellembelle District.

The 'Pride and Passion' outfit upon hearing the unfortunate incident, suspended the player indefinitely until all investigations are conducted to plead him not guilty.

The recent court sitting regarding this issue was held at the Nkroful District Court and was supervised by Her Worship Awo Amissah French who tempered justice with mercy and with three sureties, granted the winger a short bail after almost two weeks in remand.

Flamini per reports, will return to court for further more queries on Monday, May 15, 2023.

However, despite being given a bail, he won't be able to regroup with his teammates at the CAM Park since his suspension still holds.
