King Faisal Football Club has declared its readiness to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup if they win the MTN FA Cup this year.
The club secured a 3-1 penalty shootout victory against Aduana Stars in the quarterfinals of the competition after a 2-2 draw in 120 minutes.
According to spokesperson Awal Mohammed, King Faisal is financially capable of competing in Africa and is prepared to do so if they win the FA Cup.
"We are ready to participate in Africa because we are financially sound to compete in the Confederation Cup if we win the FA Cup," as reported by Kumasi FM on Tuesday.
The club is scheduled to face Nsoatreman FC in the semifinals of the 2022/23 FA Cup, while Dreams FC will take on Division One team Skyy FC.
