King Faisal forward, Benjamin Bature is very pleased with their win over the weekend to reach the semi final of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup and explained that was fulfilled collectively.
The experience attacker scored on the 78th minute to salvage a 2-2 draw for the Green and Whites against Aduana Stars at the Dr. Kwame Sports Complex last Sunday.
Anokye Badu and Frank Owusu got the goals for the travellers whiles, Abdul Latif- also the other scorer for the homesters.
Speaking to StarTimes after the game, the ex- Medeama star revealed he told the players prior to the start of the game that, this is the time to make a memorable mark in their careers and described how the atmosphere always looks like when you advance into the last two.
"We told the guys that the atmosphere when reaching into the finals of the FA Cup is very very great and as a player you have to achieve something in such a way that you can say something about your career. So I just tell them that they have to fight hard and we will go to the semifinal to experience that.”
Benjamin Bature is a two time FA Cup winner and has been sensational since joining the 'Insha Allah' outfit early this year with five goals in all competitions to his belt this time around.
King Faisal will now face fellow Premier League rivals Nsoatreman FC in the semi final of the league cup as they look to have their hands gripped to the trophy for the first time in their history.
