Kudjoe Fianoo, Ghana League Clubs Association chairman, has reiterated the Ghanaian game is in total mess and things can only get better when the family and friends system being practiced at the FA is halted.

He made these comments following the Black Stars ill performances in the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The four-time African champions lost to Sudan by 2-0 in their last game and are currently without a win in their opening four matches and are found on the fourth position with only two points.

"It is now looking very unlikely for Ghana to qualify and the GHALCA boss has alleged the country's FA is being run with friends and families who are there only for personal benefits but not to aid for the improvement of the game.

"Ghana football in it's entirety is in a mess. We haven't seen anything yet, if the FA will continue with this family and friends system, this is what we will get.

"These individuals (GFA) came solely to benefit themselves, not to improve our game.

"Things can only change if we all stop the yes sir, master thing and speak truth to authority."

The Black Stars will regroup next month to face Angola and Niger to wrap up the 2025 AFCON qualifiers series.
