Black Satellites head coach, Desmond Ofei has revealed his target ahead of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship which commences today in Togo.

The four-time African champions have been in camp since August and have trained enough to have themselves adequately prepared for the competition coming up.

The team wrapped up their preparations with a high profile friendly against Germany in a game they lost by 5-0 and are looking forward to right all wrongs as soon as possible.

Ghana has been housed in Group A alongside hosts Togo, Benin and Niger.

With the competition starting today, coach Desmond Ofei has stated his target to win the trophy or atleast secure 2025 U-20 AFCON spot- a feet he believes will mean a lot to the entire nation having missed out on the last edition. He told Supersport;

"As a coach in my position, I will do everything I can to prepare this team to qualify for the AFCON. It will not only mean a lot to me but the whole nation."

Ghana will kickstart their competition today, October 17, against the Young Squirrels of Benin.
