Ghana Football Association President, Kurt E.S Okraku has heaped praises on the MTN FA Cup Committee led by Hon. Wilson Arthur for putting up another exciting and successful competition.
The 2022/23 Ghana football season was officially wrapped up last Sunday in Abrankese with the FA Cup final, with the Premier League and other division championships already accomplished weeks ago.
After a huge and a long battle between sixty-four clubs, it was Dreams FC that emerged victors after humbling King Faisal FC by 2-0 in the final, kind courtesy two goals in each half from Aziz Issah and Sadiq Alhassan.
Speaking on StarTimes after the competition, Kurt Okraku- who use to be the chairman of the FA Cup committee, has commended the current members for organizing yet another epic event.
“I think that they’ve done a yeoman’s job; from the Chairman, Hon. Wilson Arthur and the rest of the team. It’s been pure sacrifice, pure dedication and pure passion, and I think that they’ve done a good job to the product and I am a very proud man.”
The 'Still Believe' lads after the triumph will have the opportunity to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup in the 2023/24 season.
