Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the Black Stars are fully equipped to compete at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The GFA chief, speaking with optimism following Ghana’s successful qualification campaign, said preparations were already underway to give the national team every possible advantage before next year’s tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
“As the Black Stars prepare to represent the nation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the GFA reaffirms its commitment to providing every necessary support to ensure the team’s success on the world stage,” Okraku said.
Okraku stressed that Ghana’s focus was not simply on participation but on achieving meaningful results through thorough preparation, technical excellence and strong team unity.
He also highlighted the importance of collaboration with key stakeholders, including government, sponsors and supporters in creating the right environment for the team to thrive.
