Ibrahim Sannie Daara, a former Communications Director at the Ghana Football Association (GFA), is convinced Kurt Okraku ought to have expressed regret for his contentious statements of not working with his enemies.

Having won the 2019 GFA presidential elections, Oktaku stated in an interview that he would not team up with people he knows were against his candidature.

“I will not win an election and work with my enemies,” Okraku declared. “I will work with people who believe in me and can help me accomplish my mission.”

However, reminiscing, Daara thinks that Okraku should have formally withdrawn his statement.

“Kurt Okraku should have publicly walked back on his ‘I won’t work with my enemies’ comment,” he told Sporty FM.

“There is no way I will go public and criticize Kurt Okraku when I can advise him privately.”

Daara also appealed to Okraku to make it a priority in fostering unity and bringing together the football fraternity.
