Libyan-based and Black Stars midfielder Kwasi Sibo has donated a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine to Kronum Afracho Polytechnic Hospital in Kumasi to help treat newborn babies experiencing breathing difficulties.
The donation was made through his Sibo Foundation as part of efforts to improve neonatal care and support vulnerable infants who require respiratory assistance during their early days of life.
The CPAP machine delivers a steady flow of air to help keep a baby’s airways open, providing essential breathing support for newborns with respiratory complications.
Sibo’s donation is expected to strengthen the hospital’s capacity to care for babies facing breathing challenges and improve access to specialised neonatal support.
The workaholic midfielder is also preparing for club duties with his Asswehly SC teammates ahead of their CAF Champions League preliminary-round second-leg encounter against Esperance this weekend. The Red Knights hold a 1-0 advantage from the first leg.
Kwasi Sibo is also expected to be considered for Ghana’s squad for the upcoming double-header against Somalia, as the Black Stars continue preparations for their next international assignment.
