Former Black Stars winger, Laryea Kingston has heaped praises on Black Stars gaffer Chris Hughton for securing AFCON qualification and believes he deserve every credit and support from Ghanaians to continue with his role.
The Black Stars wrapped up their qualifiers last Thursday with a 2-1 comeback victory over Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium, thanks to goals from Kudus Mohammed and Ernest Nuamah.
The current Black Starlets deputy coach says Chris Hughton has done immaculately well for qualifying the team to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations since it was the most important task, and has called upon all Ghanaians to offer him their support. He told Kumasi-based Akoma FM;
"Chris Hughton has really done well. The most important thing was to qualify Ghana to the AFCON and that has been achieved so he deserves all the credit and support."
The Black Stars will wrap up the first international window today when they face Liberia in an international friendly this mid-afternoon at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
