The outspoken football administrator, who is known for his persistent castigation against the current leadership of the football governing body, has now jumped ship to support his adversary over his purported continuation of the presidency beyond his second term

Ghana FA president Kurt Okraku's number one critic Abdul Salam Yakubu has  said he is in full support of the purported presidential third term agenda of the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B president.

In recent times, reports in the local media were rife that the Dreams FC capo is intending to run for a third term of office when his current tenure expires in 2027.

However, with the reportage gaining currency within the football fraternity, many football fans and connoisseurs have so far raised eyebrows over the decision.

And now, in view of this brouhaha, the New Edubiase FC president has now come to the defense of the GFA commander-in-chief claiming he has the full backing of all football administrators given his leadership capabilities.

''l'm in full support of the third term agenda of Kurt Okraku,'' the tough-talking club administrator told Accra-based radio station Original FM. ''We, the football people have shown that we are okay with the direction of our football by voting for him [Kurt Okraku] and his people to leadership positions,'' he added.
