Vociferous football administrator, Abdul Salam Yakubu has linked the Black Stars failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to the evil deeds of the leaders at the Ghana Football Association.
Four-time winners Ghana have failed to qualify for the tournament for the first time since 2004 after failing to win any of their five Group F games.
Speaking to Kessben FM, the Edubiase United president, Abdul Salam went raw and stated that Ghana's failure was as a result of the bad treatment leaders of the FA has doled out to some people in the football fraternity.
"To me, Pep Guardiola is the best coach in the world but he cannot handle the Black Stars. Otto Addo has done nothing wrong as coach of the national team. For our coach to celebrate an equalizing goal tells you our football has collapsed," he said.
"Semenyo, Inaki, Kudus and other are matured players. Otto Addo has nothing to teach them. Anyone can coach the Black Stars.
"Otto Addo can’t be blamed for Black Stars AFCON qualification failure. We didn’t qualify because of evil leaders. They’ve really hurt people within the football fraternity. Their evil deeds is paying off."
