Kantudu will battle it out with Sepe Timpom on the mid-afternoon of Saturday, June 22, in a highly anticipated final of the 27th Ashanti Regional Inter-Zango Community Football Tournament at the Aboabo Middle B Park.
The competition has been in existence for twenty-seven (27) years now and was introduced by the deserved Zango Football Federation President, Mohammed Murtala Ibrahim, famously known as 'Prince Akuter', who has made the competition very exciting and beautiful for almost three decades and has now become very enviable for other communities outside the region to even crave for participation.
Heading into the final, the two finalists; Kantudu and Sepe Timpom have their sights set on nothing but the beautiful coveted World Cup-like trophy, the cash prize and also the bragging rights and will approach the game with nothing but a winning mindset.
Kantudu, despite having a better goal difference in Group F in the first phase of the competition, finished second with six points, a point behind eventual group winners Sabon Zongo.

The 2007 champions exhibited a five-star performance to edge Kenyase by 2-0 in the round of 16 before nipping on Theo's brace to edge 2022 conquerors Aboabo Extension to cruise into the semi final.
They made it even better by booking themselves a final spot with a narrow 1-0 win over Abirem, courtesy Nana Prempeh's lone goal.
In contrast, Sepe Timpom's journey to their first ever final was somehow jittery and a sloppy one in the first round having finished as one of the best third-placed teams in the tourney with four points from three games.

In the knockout phase, Sepe Timpom redeemed themselves with a resounding 3-1 win over Sawaba, they evicted Amakom/Dagomba line next before whipping Sabon Zongo by 2-0 in the other semi final to advance to the final.
To climax it all, organiser Prince Akuter has really worked extra harder to secure the service of current Ghana's Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Mustapha Ussif, who will be present to grace the final as a special guest of honor.
Former Borussia Dortmund attacker and current Accra Lions Technical Director, Ibrahim Tanko and New Edubiase FC bank-roller, Abdul Salam Yakubu (Sabato) will also attend the much-anticipated event.
