Aduana FC have booked their place in the MTN FA Cup semi-finals after a dominant 3–0 victory against Techiman Liberty Youth on Saturday, in a match that highlighted their quality and experience.
The Dormaa-based side broke the deadlock in the 39th minute through Daouda Sidibe, whose clinical finish gave Aduana a deserved lead heading into the break. Liberty struggled to cope with the pace and tactical discipline of the top-flight outfit throughout the first half.
Aduana extended their advantage in the 81st minute, when Alex Boakye struck with precision to make it 2–0, effectively putting the game beyond reach. The Black Stars’ blend of creativity and composure was evident as they controlled possession and limited Liberty’s attacking opportunities.
The finishing touch came in stoppage time, as Emmanuel Marfo sealed a comfortable win in the 92nd minute, ensuring the three points for Aduana and sending their supporters into celebration.
With this victory, Aduana FC will now face the winner of the quarter-final clash between Berekum Chelsea and Nations FC in the semi-final, keeping their hopes alive of lifting the prestigious domestic trophy.
