Asante Kotoko played out a goalless drawn game with Nsoatreman FC in their first game at the Baba Yara Stadium since the end of last season, in a preseason friendly.
Nsoatreman FC started well and got themselves a free kick in the early stages but the delivery was checked by Sheriff Mohammed at far post.
Kotoko later settled and took charge of the game, Nicholas Bonsu swung a teasing cross targeted at Kalou Ouattara in the middle but visitors goalie reacted quickly to rescue the situation.
The 'Kum Apem' lads had to make a substitution on the 36th minute due to injury as Nana Bayin came on for Nicholas Opoku.
In the second half, the Porcupine Warriors returned on a higher note and broke on a counter, but Morrison's final effort was checked.
The 'Efiri Tete Amanaso' outfit looked really calm and weren't particularly interested in scoring goals but looked really good on the ball an were displaying some good style of football.
It ended goalless after full time with both teams failing to bury any of the countless chances that fell on their path. Both teams engaged into this encounter to test their strength ahead of the 2023/24 season.
