Asante Kotoko, faced a disappointing exit from this season's MTN FA Cup following a 2-0 defeat to Karela United in the Round 16 stage of the domestic competition.

In the 65th minute, Giyas extended Karela United's lead with a remarkable shot, doubling the team's advantage and securing a 2-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.
With this result, Karela United advances to the quarter-finals of this season's MTN FA Cup, while Asante Kotoko exits the competition.
