The Black Satellites of Ghana took on first division side Ebusua Dwarfs over the weekend at the Glowlamp Academy Park in a preparatory friendly.

The 2009 world champions exhibited a stellar display to record an emphatic 3-1 win over the Crabs- in a tie both teams used to test their strength and readiness for subsequent assignments.

The first department of the game finished 1-1 with Jerry Afriyie and Emmanuel Ifeanyi getting their names on the scoresheet for the two sides.

The Satellites returned stronger in the second half to add two more goals from Jerry again- who scored to complete his brace before another from Michael Ephson to seal the win.

Coach Desmond Offei definitely was really impressed with the performance of his players as he drew lots of positives from the game and hopes to establish a redoubtable side for the pending tourney.

The Black Satellites are drawn in Group A of the 13th African Games alongside Congo, Benin and Gambia.

The Games will commence on Friday, March 8, 2024.
