The Ghana U-17 national team defeated lower-division side Attram De Visser Academy by an emphatic 4-1 in a preparatory game last Saturday afternoon held at the Union Park in Legon.
The game was really a very exciting one that will definitely give coach Prosper Narteh Ogum a fair idea of his team and has definitely picked some lessons from there despite winning by a three-goal margin.
The team was captained by Benab FC young sensation Joseph Narbi - who has been with the team for some time and is there alongside some talented youngsters as well who are willing to wave the flag of Ghana high in the upcoming WAFU tournament.
Earlier on Friday morning, the Black Starlets lost by 2-0 to first division side Port City FC in another fascinating encounter at the same venue.
Ghana in the upcoming WAFU Zone B U-17 championship have been drawn in Group A alongside host Côte d’Ivoire, Togo and Niger.
The two-time world champions will kickoff their campaign on September 20, against Togo.
