Division One side Debibi United FC put a stellar performance to surprisingly humble Asante Kotoko by 4-1 in a friendly encounter earlier this morning at the Adako-Jachie Sports Complex.
The match was organized to keep both teams active during the MTN FA Cup weekend, with the sides taking advantage of the break to identify and patch up the few cracks in their set-up.
Debibi United made a bright start and took the lead through Kwadwo Antwi before Dauda converted from the penalty spot to extend their advantage.
Kotoko managed to reduce the deficit when striker Kwame Opoku found the net for the Porcupine Warriors but two more goals by Collins Adjei and Osman Zakaria completed what was an emphatic victory for the lower-division side.
Asante Kotoko despite the defeat will prepare for their next league game against Nations FC on Sunday, March 22, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
