Hearts of Oak fell to a narrow and surprising 0-1 defeat in a friendly game against lower division side Golden Kick FC at the Kpobiman Training Complex earlier this morning.

The Rainbow Club dominated large parts of the game and created several clear chances having come close on multiple occasions but could not convert any into goals throughout the match.
Golden Kick were reduced to ten men at half-time after a red card. Despite playing a man down, the visitors stayed disciplined and defended well to frustrate the home side.
The decisive moment came in the dying embers when Golden Kick scored the only goal of the game with just three minutes left on the clock to snatch the win.
