Division One League side Golden Kick Sporting Club have written a new chapter in their history books by qualifying for the MTN FA Cup final for the very first time, following a commanding 3-1 victory over Attram De Visser in the semifinal clash.

The Division One side produced an inspired performance, with Bless Ege netting a superb brace and Paul Yeboah adding a third to secure the win. Attram De Visser managed a consolation goal through Precious Gyimah, but it was not enough to stop Golden Kick’s charge to the final.

Golden Kick will now await the outcome of the second semifinal between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea, scheduled for Sunday, May 11 at the TNA Stadium.

This historic achievement makes Golden Kick the first Division One club to reach the FA Cup final since 2016, when Okwahu United narrowly lost 2-1 to eventual champions Bechem United.

With one final hurdle remaining, Golden Kick are now just 90 minutes away from potentially becoming the first second-tier side in nearly a decade to lift the prestigious domestic trophy.
