Hasaacas Ladies claimed the 2026/27 Champion of Champions title after edging Ampem Darkoa Ladies 1-0 in the season’s curtain-raiser.
Milot Pokuaa scored the decisive goal in the second half to hand the Doo Ladies victory and secure the first silverware ahead of the new Ghana Women’s Premier League campaign.
The ‘Nana Mma’ girls had an early opportunity to take the lead when Tracey Twum was played through in the fourth minute, but she failed to convert the chance.
Hasmal also gradually grew into the contest and came close to breaking the deadlock before half-time, only for Pokuaa’s effort to be parried to safety.
The forward continued to pose a threat after the break and eventually found the breakthrough in the 61st minute, finishing off her impressive performance with the goal that separated the two sides.
The victory gives Hasaacas Ladies a strong start to the 2026/27 season, with the Champion of Champions now paving the way for the commencement of the Women’s Premier League.
