Hasaacas Ladies scored twice in each half to humble Army Ladies by 2-0 last Saturday, October 12, at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram, to emerge winners of the 2024 Women Champion of Champions.
The game was really an exciting one for both teams and also the perfect avenue to test and asses their strengths and weaknesses ahead of the upcoming season.
Despite how Army Ladies were in the early stages of the game, Hasaacas Ladies still pushed to open the scoring account with six minutes to half time through Comfort Owusu who headed into the net from Abiba Issah's sumptuous cross.
Subsequently, Mercy Atobrah sealed the victory in the 74th minute to wrap up the win for the 'Doo' girls who emerged winners of the 2024 Champion of Champions.
This game is the curtain raiser for the 2024/25 Ghana Women's Premier League which commences this Friday, October 18, 2024.
