Pro-Sports Academy continued with their preseason and engaged in another friendly exercise after holding Kumasi Cornerstone FC to a pulsating 1-1 stalemate at the Kotei Community Astro Turf earlier this morning.

Cornerstone FC are a household name in Ghana football and have produced some great players and contributed immensely to the Ghanaian game but haven't competed in the topflight for a very long time now.

Pro-Sports Academy exhibited a stellar performance throughout the game as usual, but were also given a very good test and run for their money.

The 'Gye Nyame' outfit trailed after just 15 minutes from kickoff with Henry Adusei Poku getting the goal for Cornerstone but a 38th minute equaliser from Richmond Fosu levelled things up and that's how it finished as no goal was produced in the second department.

They have recently engaged in some series of friendlies to test their strength ahead of the 2023/24 Ashanti Regional Division Two Championship which starts in no time.

Coach is hoping to identify the right talents with the aim of establishing a redoubtable side with no blemishes before the commencement of the season.

Pro-Sports Academy have been placed in zone 8 and will battle it out against clubs like Desire FC, MBC, Kumasi Angels, Adanse United and much more.
