The Daboase based outfit remains the only second-tier club in this season's edition of the FA Cup competition after defeating Ebusua Dwarfs in the quarter-final fixture on Sunday afternoon.
Skyy FC are through to the semis of the 2022/23 FA Cup competition following a 1-0 victory over their fellow Division One League side in the quarters at the St. Martins Park in Daboase.
An early strike from Eric Konadu Antwi ensured Skyy FC a win to advance to the semi-final stage of the competition after missing out the last season's edition in the quarter-final round.
The home side piled up pressure on the back line of Ebusua Dwarfs to concede on the second minute of the game after an earlier free-kick had been squandered by Micheal Abrokwah.
Striker Eric Konadu Antwi brilliantly capitalized on the mistake of the Ebusua Dwarfs defense to slot the ball past goalkeeper Bright Quaye.
The host intensified their output after taking the lead with the hopes of getting more goals but their efforts went futile as it ended in a 1-0 win for them.
In the second half, Ebusua Dwarfs warmed themselves into the fixture by enjoying majority of the possession but failed to level the score.
Following the 1-0 win for Skyy FC, the Division One League campaigners are through to the semi-finals of the 2022/23 FA Cup competition.
Skyy FC will face Premier League side Dreams FC in the semis of the competition slated later this month.
