On Sunday afternoon, Skyy FC secured a place in the semifinals of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup by defeating Ebusua Dwarfs 1-0 in Daboase.
The home team took control of the game from the start, with Eric Antwi Konadu scoring in the second minute. Dwarfs came close to scoring in the 67th minute, but their header was weak and easily saved by the Skyy FC goalkeeper, Solomon Nimo.
Both teams played well in the second half, but neither could create many significant opportunities.
In the remaining minutes of the game, Dwarfs dominated and had some good chances, but the Skyy FC defense held on to win 1-0 and advance to the semifinals for the second year in a row.
Skyy FC will now face Dreams FC in the semifinals later this month.
