The Black Princesses of Ghana have been marmalized by 4-0 against France in an international friendly earlier today at the Complexe Sportif a Clairefontaire-en-Yvelines. 

This game was played to serve as a preparatory friendly for both teams ahead of the 2022 FIFA Women's World Cup which is set to commence in few weeks time in Costa Rica.

Coach Ben Fokuo handed starting berths to skipper Evelyn Badu, Anastasia Achaa, Grace Banwaa but astonishingly left Abdulai Mukarama and Rahma Jafaru at the bench. 
 
Les Belues took total control of the game having scored three of their four goals in the first half kind courtesy Vicki Becho's brace, with the other goal coming from Esther Mbakem-Niaro. Laurina Fazer scored from the spot in the second half to seal the victory. 
 
The Black Princesses are placed in Group D alongside United States of America, Netherland and Japan in the much-awaited competition.
 
Coach Ben Fokuo and his girls will have to improve immensely from today's game as they prepare to face three time world champions USA in their opening game on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
