Medeama SC gaffer, Nebojsa Kapor has heaped praises on his players after getting their first victory in the ongoing GHALCA Top 4 tournament.
The Mauves and Yellows after losing painfully to Bechem United in the opening game, redeemed themselves with a vital 2-1 win over Nations FC, thanks to a late goal from defender Emmanuel Cudjoe.
Reacting to the victory, the Bosnian tactician lauded his players 'never give up' spirit to snatch the win but added they were somehow wasteful upfront and will have to improve on that going forward.
“I’m very happy for the players. Congratulations to everyone. They deserved this victory. I’m not satisfied, especially with how we played in the attack. We should find more and better solutions to the attack. We must keep working hard and everything will be fine."
Medeama SC earlier, defeated giants Asante Kotoko by 2-1 last Friday in a very cagey encounter in the inauguration of the new TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.
They will face regional rivals Sekondi Eleven Wise in their final game of the competition on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
