Medeama SC is set to appoint Ibrahim Tanko as their new head coach, according to reports from Kumasi-based Kessben TV.  

Tanko, renowned for his technical expertise and wealth of experience, takes charge at the Tarkwa-based club with the mandate to strengthen their position in Ghanaian football and enhance their performance in continental competitions.  

 

The appointment marks a pivotal moment for Medeama SC as they seek to build on their recent achievements. The club and its supporters are optimistic that Tanko’s leadership can propel them to new heights both domestically and on the international stage.  

 

Currently, Medeama sits seventh on the Ghana Premier League table with 26 points after 18 matches, trailing league leaders Asante Kotoko by eight points. The Yellow and Mauves are also through to the Round of 16 in the MTN FA Cup, a competition they have won twice in recent years.  

 

Further details about Tanko’s contract and immediate plans are expected to be disclosed by the club in the coming days.
