Hearts of Oak gaffer, Samuel Boadu, insists that Mohammed Alhassan deserves Black Stars call-up after a series of impressive performances.

Black Stars are scheduled to play Madagascar and Central African Republic in the AFCON qualifiers as well as a four nation tournament in Japan next month.

Otto Addo and the rest of the technical team that led Ghana to qualify for the world cup against Nigeria have been officially maintained as the technical handlers of the side until after the World cup in December.

The Black Stars squad is expected to be announced any moment from now because the game against Madagascar will come off next week.

The 30-year-old all-round defender has featured twenty-five times for the Phobians and won the man of the match in their 1:0 victory over Babiani Gold Stars.

Samuel Boadu says Mohammed Alhassan has worked hard to merit a call-up to the Black Stars and insists that everyone can attest to it.

"Our (Ghana) national team call-up, Mohammed Alhassan is the number one that they are supposed to call," Samuel Boadu told Kessben TV.

"I'm not the head coach of the national team right? But he deserves it and everybody have seen it," he insisted.
