Moshie Zongo emerged champions of the Old Tafo Municipal Community Football Galah once again after humbling Abaawa Ruth by 4-3 in a thrilling final last Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Tafo Sakasaka Astro Turf.
The epic final was somehow a game of two halves for both teams in a stunning seven-goal thriller that left the speculators filled with nothing but total excitement from start to the blast of the final whistle.
Moshie Zongo commenced the game on an explosive note and opened the scoring account through Emba, before Balotelli increased the tally later to hand his side a two-goal cushion at halftime.
Back from recess, Kalaba scored in the early stages of the second half to extend the lead to three with Moshie Zongo looking like they were already running riots over their opponents.
However, Abaawa Ruth responded with one hell of an explosive performance that none anticipated having attacked with so much intent and purpose to score three goals out of nowhere to level things up at some point in the game.
They won't stay on level for long as Camacho connected with a towering header from Emba's 'Tony Kross' like corner kick in the dying embers to hand M-Zongo a precious win, the coveted trophy and the bragging rights after full time.
This is the second time in three years head coach Musah is leading Moshie Zongo to winning this competition having done same in 2022- a glory which left the entire streets of the community in complete raptures over the weekend.
