Ghanaian defender Gideon Mensah is rallying the support of Kumasi residents ahead of the national team's crucial match against Central African Republic on June 10 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars are gearing up to face their counterparts from Central African Republic in Round 4 of Group I qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In an interview with the media team of the Ghana Football Association, Mensah passionately appealed to Ghanaians, stating, “Hi Ghanaians, you all know we have a match against Central African Republic in Kumasi. All of you should come and support us just like you do all the time so that we can qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”
Prior to the encounter with Central African Republic, Ghana will face Mali on Thursday, June 6, setting the stage for an intense week of football action.
