Reigning champions Hearts of Oak will battle it out with Bechem United in a herculean clash this afternoon at the Baba Yara Stadium in the final of the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup.
The 'Phobians' will set sights on achieving their 12th league cup glory and however, still remains the most successful club in the competition whereas the Hunters will be hoping for their second success after 2016.
Hearts of Oak lost the league trophy to arc rivals Asante Kotoko, having failed to miss out on the top four with an appaling ending of the season and finished on the 6th position with 48 points.
Bechem United also lost the second position but managed to make a top four finish after clinching the 3rd position on the standing with 54 points at the end.
The Rainbow Club have had a decent campaign in the league and are unbeaten for almost two years now, having stunned clubs like Elmina Sharks, Skyy FC and Dreams FC en route to the final.
The Hunters also, have been really convincing in the competition having taking out clubs like Kumawuman United, Tamale City FC including a resounding 2-0 win over Aduana Stars in the semi final.

Coach Samuel Boadu has already stated his boys are poised for the game this afternoon and will play their hearts out to win it as consolation for their fans.
They will miss the service of key trio Abdul Aziz Nurudeen, playmaker Ibrahim Salifu and veteran Sulley Muntari all due to injuries.
On the opposition end, coach Kasim Mingle has a very strong and full strength squad to select from, for the epic tie coming up.
