Cremonese striker Felix Afena-Gyan has expressed his heartfelt admiration for the retiring Ghanaian legend, Asamoah Gyan.
After a remarkable career spanning nearly two decades with the national team, the former captain of Ghana's senior squad announced his retirement. Gyan's illustrious journey has served as a tremendous source of inspiration for numerous young players, including emerging star Afena-Gyan, formerly of AS Roma and now with Cremonese.
In a tribute to his idol, the 20-year-old forward took to his social media platforms, expressing gratitude to Gyan for igniting their collective dreams. Afena-Gyan's breakout performance in 2021 has even led to him being hailed as the next Gyan.
