Black Stars Coach Chris Hughton will be unveiled in Kumasi today, Monday, March 20, 2023, as part of the build-up to the match against Angola.

The former Nottingham Forest and Brighton boss was spotted at the Akwasidae festival at the Manhyia Palace held on Sunday afternoon. The 64-year-old was accompanied by assistant coach George Boateng at Manhyia.

However, Hughton will be presented to the media to share his vision, ideology, and expectations with the public in Kumasi at the SG Mall at Ayigya at 10am.

Chris Hughton replaces Otto Addo who left the role after the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament that took place in November/December last year.

According to sources, Chris Hughton will be handed a three-year contract.

He has been tasked to qualify the team to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and also qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
