Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito says his side must beat Aduana FC when the two teams meet in the MTN FA Cup Round of 16.
His comments come after Kotoko’s disappointing 3–1 defeat to Heart of Lions in Matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier League at the Kpando Sports Stadium last Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the FA Cup tie, Zito said his target this season is to win both the FA Cup and the league and stressed that his team cannot afford another setback.
“Definitely, we have to win that game (against Aduana FC). We don’t have any excuse because my main objective is to win the league or the FA Cup, or even the double,” the former Black Satellites coach said.
“So definitely, I have to work hard because we cannot afford to lose to Aduana,” he added.
Kotoko will host the Fire Boys at the Baba Yara Stadium this weekend.
