The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Henry Asante Twum says no Ghanaian has applied to be the head coach of the Black Stars.

Otto Addo stepped-down as the Black Stars head coach after Ghana exited the World Cup.

 
Ghana couldn't progress from the group stage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar abysmal display.
 
 
The Black Stars lost to both Portugal and Uruguay but beat South Korea in Group H.
 
Chris Hughton, Thomas Tuchel and a host of others have been linked to the four-time African Cup of Nations champions.
 
Chris Hughton has been touted as the favourite for the top job after serving as the technical advisor of the Black Stars for close to a-year.
 
The GFA were reportedly considering Saudi Arabia head coach, Hervé Renard but his salary is a huge standing block.
 
"I'm never surprised that coaches are constantly applying[ to be Black Stars coach]. Most of them are from European countries and some too from South America," Henry Asante Twum said on Asempa FM.
 
"So far no Ghanaian coach has applied for the Black Stars job," he noted.
