Assistant coach of Nsoatreman FC Andy Sinasson says that his side are eager to put up a strong defence of the ongoing Ghana FA Cup.
The Efiri Tete Amanaso are the trophy holders after they defeated Boafoakwa Tano 2-1 in last season’s final at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The FA Cup feat allowed Nsoatreman - who are currently struggling in the Ghanaian Premiership to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Nsoatreman will continue this season’s competition with a round 32 tie against fellow Ghanaian top tier side' Young Apostles at the Nana Amoah Koronmansah Park this weekend.
When speaking to the media ahead of that match, assistant coach Skinner expressed his side’s desire to strongly defend their crown.
“We did well last season and it was the FA Cup that took us to Africa. So we are determined to do well this season," Sinasson said.
“We played in the Confederation Cup because of our success in the FA Cup last term. Once we were champions last season, everyone would like us to do well and that is what we are praying for."
