Black Stars winger Ernest Nuamah says adjusting to head coach Carlos Queiroz's style will be vital as Ghana prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking from Ghana’s training camp in Cardiff ahead of Tuesday’s friendly against Wales, the 22-year-old stressed that every coach has their own way of playing, and the team must adapt to succeed.
"Every coach has their style of play, and we need to adapt to his style. That is the most important," Nuamah said.
Returning to the national team after a year out with injury, Nuamah admitted he is excited to be back and praised his teammates for their commitment.
"It's been good. It feels good to be back around the team. Everyone is dedicated. We are all happy and ready to give it all for the competition," he added.
The winger also thanked Ghanaians for their prayers and support during his recovery, promising to give his best for the nation at the World Cup.
Ghana will kick start their World Cup campaign against Panama at BMO Field in Toronto on June 17 before facing England in Boston on June 23. They will then complete the group stage against Croatia at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on June 27.
