Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has announced his 24-player squad for the high profile international friendly against European champions England next month. 

The squad blends experienced players with youthful exuberance with key players like captain Portia Boakye, Doris Boaduwaa, Josephine Bonsu, Chantelle Boye, goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan all making the cut 

The Queens after an impressive WAFCON campaign in July, have punched another ticket for the next edition in Morocco with an emphatic 7-0 on aggregate win over Egypt in the qualifying series. 

Having qualified for the next continental showpiece, this is the only game Kim Lars and his girls will get to play before March next year and will definitely be a perfect test for them to assess themselves. 

The team will arrive in the country very soon to begin preparations for few days before they depart to the United Kingdom for definitely what will be the biggest game they will play in recent years. 

The Three Lionessess of England will host the Black Queens of Ghana on December 2, at the St Mary’s Stadium - home grounds of Championship side Southampton.
