Hearts of Oak have now extended their winless run to three after yet another goalless draw against Young Apostles in match-week 11 of the Premier League.
Despite Benjamin Asare’s return from the Black Stars camp, Solomon Agbasi was maintained in post for Hearts of Oak and this bold decision from the coach didn’t cost them in any way after yet another clean sheet.
It was a very open and fascinating encounter at the Wenchi Sports Stadium with the game producing anything magical to keep the fans excited except goals.
After a goalless first half, both sides made a very explosive resumption with the hopes of getting a goal especially in the opening minutes of the second phase but weren’t clinical enough.
All those attempts made on goal resulted to nothing with the two teams not creative enough and not really too strong to break the backline of each other.
Young Apostles have dropped to the ninth spot on the log with 15 points and will play as visitors to Swedru All Blacks next
Hearts of Oak however, haven’t won since the Super-Clash and there’s definitely going to be so much pressure on Didi Dramani to win his next game against Vision FC
